David is one of the firm’s senior Members, with over thirty years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of the criminal justice system.
Having always practised as a criminal defence solicitor, David represents people at Police Stations and in Magistrates’ Courts. He works extensively with leading barristers in the Crown Court on serious criminal trials involving murder, terrorism, large scale organised crime, drug supply cases, serious violence and sex offences.
During his long career, David has also trained in both child care and mental health law, two disciplines which often cross-over into a criminal defence solicitor’s caseload; that added expertise has given David the skills to understand the psychological affect that an accused individual can suffer and sets him above the rest when it comes to client care and dealing discreetly and confidentially with sensitive issues that can have a devastating effect upon a person’s life.
